Neill Cameron Will Explain ‘How To Make Awesome Comics’ This August

Over on his blog, writer/artist/robot fan Neill Cameron has announced his newest project: ‘How To Make Awesome Comics’, which will be released in August through David Fickling Books.

Tying in to his recent work running a comics workshop and being the Artist in Residence for Oxford’s Story Museum, the book collects together new and old material in a big anthology-style guidebook. Cameron is perhaps best known for his series Mo-Bot High and for various strips running in The Phoenix Magazine, and many of those strips will be republished in this book. David Fickling is the publisher of The Phoenix as well as owner of David Fickling Books, meaning there’s a strong tie between the brands.

Alongside the book, Cameron will also be running some more comics courses, backed by fantastical and possibly mythical comic creators Kate Brown and Gary Northfield. You can find out more here.
