Titan are Doing The Do with a Forthcoming Betty Boop Collection

So alright, it’s the Max Fleischer character rather than the iconic (and still going – she’s a really successful songwriter nowadays!) pop rapper. At any rate, Titan will LIKELY still be doing the do right now, as the publisher have announced that they’ll be collecting together the 1930s newspaper strip for a new ominbus edition.


Featuring the world’s hugest eyes, Betty Boop was a success throughout the 1930s first as a cartoon character and later as the subsequent star of hew own newspaper strip. If you’re me, you’ll best remember her for her slumming role as a waitress in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Her strip was drawn by Bud Counihan and distributed by King Features Syndicate between ’34 and ’37.
